Buddy was a gentle Golden Retriever who loved nothing more than playing fetch with his owners and cuddling up with them on the sofa. He was a happy-go-lucky dog who had never caused any trouble, so it came as a shock to his owners when they received the call that he had been set on fire.

Apparently, a group of kids had been playing in the park near their house, and one of them had taken a can of lighter fluid and squirted it onto Buddy before setting him alight. The poor dog had run home whimpering and crying, and his owners had rushed him to the vet.

The news quickly spread throughout the community, and people were overjoyed to hear that Buddy was doing well. The child who had set him on fire was caught and punished, but the focus was on Buddy’s recovery and how far he had come.

It was a long road, but Buddy had proven himself to be a fighter. He had overcome incredible odds and shown everyone what a strong and resilient dog he was. His owners knew that he would always be their loyal companion, and that they would do everything in their power to make sure he never had to suffer like that again.
