Although retired, some people still do a lot and try to make the world a better place for each any every of us.

One of these people is Eugene Bostick – a 80-year-old man who might not be working anymore, but still have a full time job as a train driver – and where to put that his passengers are nothing but rеscuеd strаy dogs!

A true animal lover since he can remember, Eugene Bostick from Fort Worth, Texas, had always been kind with animals, especially with those without a shelter over their head. Nevertheless he still has the feeling he could have done more,

and since he’s retired now and has much more free time, he decided to spend in it sweetest possible way – by taking strаy dogs he rеscuеs on adventures.

“We live down on a dеаd-end street, where me and my brother have a horse barn,” the senior said. “People sometimes come by and dump dogs out here, leaving them to starve. So, we started feeding them, letting them in, taking them to the vet to get them spayed and neutered. We made a place for them to live.”

So in time, Eugene adорted a lot of strаy dogs to his brother’s farm. But he thought to offer them something more than just food, and water and a roof over their heads. He thought he need to keep them happy, as well. So he just build a train special designed for his rеscuеd puppies.

“One day I was out and I seen this guy with a tractor who attached these carts to pull rocks. I thought, ‘Dang, that would do for a dog train,’” he said.

“I’m a pretty good welder, so I took these plastic barrels with holes cut in them, and put wheels under them and tied them together.”

Needless to say the dogs absolutely love going on train trips with the man that helped them so much!

“Whenever they hear me hooking the tractor up to it, man, they get so excited,” Eugene said. ” I am getting older, so I suppose it can’t last too much longer,

but I’ll keep it going as long as I can, because these dogs have a great time. They just really enjoy it.”
